PvP (player versus player ) could be thought of as almost a world all its own within the realms of WoW. This form of play is found optimum by players seeking the experience of combat with an enemy that is not computer generated. Through the inclusion of the human factor, PvP offers a more unpredictable, chaotic, and fast paced gaming situation.
For the Paladin class, PvP offers many different gaming styles, thus increasing the potential for endlessly evolving adventures. My own favorite PvP format is the capture the flag arena. For the Paladin there are many options in this game. You may not need the ability to buy World of Warcraft gold in this option.
The Paladin, depending on level and gear, may elect to act as a tank. By casting protection and defense spells on himself, and attack or diminishing spells on his opponents, the Paladin can very effectively punch a hole in the enemies’ line. Furthermore, if the Paladin’s party is able to stealthily avoid detection, or the party has another healing member, the Paladin can charge in and capture the flag, while retaining enough health to tank his way out of the flag room, and hand off the flag.
Paladins of lower level can still be potent party members; they just have to take a different tactic. If a Paladin finds himself up against enemies significantly higher in level, he should refrain from engaging in direct melee combat. Instead the Paladin should take up a defensive stance at the perimeter of combat. From this vantage, the Paladin can safely take up a position as party support. The Paladin, even at lower levels, still possesses potent spells to provide for the health and well being of his party.
The world of PvP is an exciting additional option available in the WoW, and the Paladin Class has some interesting options to be played within that realm.
